We have started a new tradition here at the TEMPT lab. Upon publication of a student’s first first-author paper (i.e., the first paper on which the student is the lead author that gets published), Dr. Veilleux will buy that student a large mug with the lab logo on the back and the first page of the paper printed on it.
The first group of students got their mugs last week!
We got a picture of Regina, Elise and Ally with their new mugs at our first in-person lab meeting since March of 2020, which we refer to as the Inaugural “Mug” shot:
The whole lab is definitely rooting each other on to get their mugs!!
