Congrats, Dr. Higuera!

In July, recent TEMPT alum Dr. Danielle Higuera defended her dissertation entitled “Components of emotional functioning among people with substance use and post-traumatic stress difficulties: An idiographic perspective.” Her project involved interviewing over 40 people with a 2.5hr long “emotion interview” developed in the TEMPT lab to understand emotional processing in people with a history of substance use problems and trauma. Dr. Higuera now lives in Fresno, California and is working toward licensure as a psychologist. YAY Danielle!
